MOTOR TRAGEDY SUFFERERS. WELLINGTON, May 25. Inquiries made to-night concerning the conditions of those tvlio were injured in the motor smash on Hutt Road on Tuesday afternoon show that -Airs lan Mcßae. Miss Grace Brown, Nancy Walters, Henry Stacey, and Ernest George Reid are progressing favourably. The condition of Miss Madge Williams, of Wairarapa, however. who is suffering from severe head injuries, is still regarded as very serious.
ANOTHER TRAGEDY. LEVIN. May . Tl 10 Coroner returned a verdict of accidental death in the case, of Ernest Blncklock Thuhron, engineer, of Napier, who was killed near Shannon on Sunday by his car going over a bank. The evidence showed that one hack tyro came completely off the wheel, and the car skidded in loose metal for twenty-live yards before going over the hank, and ran a further twenty-six yards parall'd with the road before capsizing. The police at Shannon stated that the number of the ear was taken just before the accident, with a view to reporting the driver for speeding.
