U.S.A. RAIL MAGNATE. NEW YORK, May 24
Henry' Huntington, a railway magnate and art collector, is dead. He left a trust fund, tho largest of its kind ever bequeathed, of £1,600,000 sterling, for research into American and English history. Three months ago Huntington donated his collection of paintings, books, and manuscripts in his Californian home, valued at seven million sterling, as a free research laboratory for the advancement of learning.
