The following figures are British investors’ losses in Russia, due to the Soviet’s confiscation of property and failure to meet obligations, according to .Mr Tweed (Chairman" of the British Creditors’ Association). The British Empire Union distributed two hundred thousand miniature I nioii Jacks for buttonholes, ten thousand large Union Jacks for Hying, and twenty thousand Umpire Dav medals. Many shops were gaily decorated with Dominion Hags and special displas of Empire foods.
TRUNK MURDER. LONDON. May 24
When Robinson was charged with the murder of Bonati, Inspector Cornish gave evidence that Robinson made a statement:—“l met Bonati at Victoria Station and took her to my olliee.
