NY. Hc-eiian. The minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. INWARD C'OR I iESPON DENt’E. From Excelsior Club asking for a Greymouth referee for their match with Kanieri.—Deceived ; after discussion it was resolved that the two Clubs agree on a referee according to the rides, the names of A. Askew, ancl a. Cutbush being forwarded to the West Coast Rugby Union. The President’s action in postponing matches last Saturday, was approved. From lio.xs Club asking for a referee from Hokitika, for the Ross-Kukatahi match at Kokatuhi.— Deceived. Mr M. Wallace was appointed. From Borough Council granting use of Cass Square.—Deceived. From West Coast Rugby Union advising that Ashburton would play in Hokitika, also Christchurch B. team; that the West Coast had challenged for the Seddon Shield on August Oth ; that recommendations for reinstatement of League players had been approved.—Deceived. From Excelsior Club inviting financial assistance for two injured players. Deceived; to he favourably considered later. From. Westlaml Hospital Board acknowledging letter and hoping lor Union’s co-operation in support ol procuring a new ambulance. —Received.

It was resolved that nominations be called for a seven-a-side tournament to he held on Cass Square oil Friday, June 3rd, in the following grades:— Seniors, fees Is fief player. Juniors, fees Is per player. Third Grade, free. Schrinips. (8 stone limit) free. Nomination fee to be paid by players at the gate. Nominations close on Monday, May 30th. at S p.m.
