ARAHURA EAT STOCK SALE. Yesterday’s fixture at the above yards was attended by the usual buyers. Prices were not any better than, the previous sales and some pens were passed, not reaching vendors ideas of value. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co’s entry comprised -15 head oi cattle and .101 fat sheep. 'The following sales wenmade : On account of Messrs J. Condon and j ■Sous 66 fat ewes at 235, 82 wethers at J 27s (id. On account of (!. Ferguson I 2 hullocks at £9. 1 ditto at £9 10s, 2j ditto at £lO ss, 1 ditto at £ll, 2 heifers at £4 Pis fid. On account of P. Olsen 1 heifer at £4 17s fid. 1 ditto at £3 10s. 1 sucker at £2 17s 6(1. On account of C. Finch, l bullock at £9 2s fid. On account of Poenia Run, 2 hill locks at £B, 2 ditto at £B. 10s, 2 ditto at £9, 3 ditto at £8 10s, 6 ditto at £8 12s fid, 3 ditto at £8 los. Messrs M. Houston and Co. report: At yesterday’s sale at the above yards our entry consisted oi 140 sheep and lambs and 40 head of fat cattle. The j usual buyers were in attendance hut competition for cattle was not at all, keen and a fair proportion of the yard-| ing was passed in, prices realized being on a par with those ruling at last sT?. We sold as follows :—On account of F .G. Williams and Sons, 65 shorn lambs at 16s; on account of John. Bradley, 23 fat sheep at 245; on ae-i count of P. Sullivan, 49 breeding ewss j at 20s; on account of T. Staines 3 - steers at £9. 3 at £8 12s fid. 1 heifer i at £5 15s, 3 at £5: on account of W. | i F.
