A suit in the Supreme Court hv the Irish Free State claiming as successor to the Irish Republic, it is entitled to bonds subscribed by the United 'States for the Republican cause, was dismissed. At the same time, the Court denied the claim of Re Valera and bis co-trustees to the bonds, which were ordered to he sold, and the proceeds to revert to the original subscribers. The amount involved was twenty-five hundred thousand dollars The litigation has lasted for five years.
