Two tugs proceeded to meet the flyers, should they appear, conveying civic: officials, a hand, and prominent members of the French colony; also in ease of emergency, a surgeon and first aid supplies. Aviators estimated he would arrive here at the end of 38 hours of the flight. They have only two hours’ petrol left.

The Canadian Government wireless station at Cape Race, Newfoundland, advised there was no word of Nungesser received up to ten this morning.

Halifax is in wireless communication with all the Government, stations in the North Atlantic but they reported nothing of the airman.

A radio message to the French Cable Company from St. Pierre reports Xungesser was seen O.K. passing Newfoundland.
