ELOQUENT CHAUFFEUR. BERLIN, AJ arch 5. Three robbers attacked Prof Sclmcckenberg, of the Charlottcnherg School of Art, and T)r. Murkiewicz, director of a Berlin Bank, as they were motoring back to Berlin last night from Jeuterbog, south of the capital. The chauffeur was able to stop the car in front of some nines trees which had been thrown across the road, and as he did so three masked men jumped out of a dark clump of trees, pointed revolvers at the travellers and shouted ‘'Your money or your life.” Seeing that they were in the robber’s hands the professor and the director gave them their money, some £lO, and a gold cigarette case with a sapphire clasp.
