The death look place at 'Wellington on April 27tli. of Mrs Murray, widow of the late Mr W. G. The Blanket Ball in. the Soldiers' Hall last evening attracted a very large attendance, and the gathering proved an unqualified success. Considerable damage to a block of brick business premises, owned by Mr ■ 11. (iadd. in Orey street. Claudelands. Hamilton, was done bv a whirlwind at half-past nine on Friday morning. What appeared to he a black cloud was seen approaching the block from tbe west, its approach being heralded by a loud and ominous roar.
