LATE LOCALS.
Members of the Municipal Band are reminded that practice takes place on Thursday night. All members and intending members of the Excelsior Juniors are notified that they are required to be present at the Shod to-morrour (Wednesday) evening at 7 o’clock sharp. As business is important a full attendance is desired.—Advt. Oil Friday (May Otli) a meeting in connection with the “Bible in Schools League,” will be held in St. Andrew’s Hall at 3 p.m. Mrs Roberts, of the Christchurch “Mothers Union” will he the speaker. All are invited to attend. A meeting of the ladies’ committee of the Chrysanthemum Show, was held yesterday afternoon, and arrangements were made in connection with the various stalls. A sub-committee was appointed for the refreshment room. Tt is to bo hoped that all those interested with the object n view and who would like to assist with donations in cash or kind, will acquaint the members, who would he only too pleased to make a cal! on the donors.
