The “Daily Herald” states that the. real discoverer of the pendulum stroke was .fames Peperroll, formerly billiards instructor at London Polytechnic. Reece s break is -till unfinished. It stood at 3156 when play closed. Davis (playing) is 5334, as against Newman's 4913.
