EVERYBODYS’ PICTURES ELINOR GLYX STORY—TO-NIGHT. AYhen Elinor Glyn starts out to tell a love story it is clone in such a realistic way that one is carried alone; living with the leading characters, ttncl " The Only Thing,” which opens at the Princess Theatre to-night, is by far tVo host picture she lias given to the screen. The characters in this newest Giyu offering are real.' There is a Princess played hy Eleanor Hoardman. Tier exterior is dignified, but there is a warmth beneath that is clearly discernible. Miss Hoardman wears a hlnude wig for the occasion, ft is becoming and gives screen followers a new fair-haired beauty that might easIv rival any blonde star on file screen. There is a grace and ease about Miss Bonrdman’s performance that carries one away. Conrad Nagel plays the leading male role—that ol flarry Vane, Duke of Chevenix. In His court uniform. in armour and in his naval uniforms, he presents a new Nagel. His fiery love for the beautiful Princess is nobly portrayed and one finds a sparkle never discerned before in this performance of his. The story tells ol a young Englishman who is sent to represent his King at the wedding of an old King to a beautiful Princess. Arriving at the court of f’hekia several days before the nuptial ceremony, lie meets and falls in love with the Princess and she reciprocates his love. There never has been a more tense scene pictured than the one of the wedding. 'The Princess does not flinch for a second and the Duke stands by and entries out. the orders of his King. Put afterwards there is a terrific climax which brings the picture to a satisfactory conclusion. A topical, scenic, and comedy will also be shown to-night.
