CORRESPONDENCE

ANZAC PARADE. (To the Editor.) Sir—\\ ill you allow me a little .space in your paper to send an invitation to Dinkuin Anzac to he present at the Drill Hall on Friday, .May oth. at 7.30 p.lll. to see who is the most 'efficient peace time soldier, i feel sure that if Dinkuin Anzac is so efficient he could get a job 011 the New Zealand staff. Re overcoats and the rain on Anzac Day, I never heard any complaints. They had the opportunity of falling out if they had a mind to do so, but they kept to the rank and file like true soldiers would do. i had to pass my exams to be efficient or <dse .1 would not be able to sign myself as— E. R. FERGUSON, Lieutenant. Hokitika. April 28tb.
