The Point Cook aviators deny that yesterday’s flying accident was caused bv the low altitude of the two inacli-
ines. They state that the flying was never dangerously low, and that thete was never a time when the aeroplanes could not have come down on to emergency landings without difficulty.

ROPE WORKS AFIRE. SYDNEY. April 23. A fire at Donaghy’s rope works, West Geelong, caused damage estimated at £15.000, mainly to the store department.
