The Gi-cy Argus slates: A quantity of confectionery, oranges, pixies and about 150 packets of cigarettes were stolen from .Messrs I’. Deck and Go’s premises in Smith's building. Alackay St. on Thursday evening. The burglary was evidently carried out by an eiitvv being made through a window at the rear of Die building. On the previous evening a railway goods van. in Die Greymoiit h yards was mitered by somebody, and a number of blankets and tools were stolen, ibis being the property oi one ol the railway gangers. Fp to the present time, the police have been unable to trace the thieves or their booty.
