Passengers from the Riverina have arrived at 1 Join La In . 4 hey state they were threatened with a water shortage while on board, and during the three days on the ship, only one small can of Iresli water was allowed daily to each cabin. The landing was uneventful, the only mishap being that one woman was tipped into the sea when a man carrying her ashore tripped . TI G ARRIVES AT WRECK. (Received this day nt 10.15 a.m.) SYDNEY. April 22. The tug St. Giles arrived at the scene of the Riverimi’s stranding and further attempts to tow her oft will he made to-day. The Riverina is leaking. but the pumps are able to cope with the inflow. The sea is rising.
