During a discussion tit the Gabout* Party’s Conference as to whether Red rules should bo adopted, there were several bouts of fisticuffs between delegates, and the Conference adjourned without coining in a decision N.S.W. LABOUR SPLIT. SYDNEY. April 19. There was a secret meeting of the Cabinet of New South Wales, attended bv all the .Ministers except Messrs Lang. Willis. Baddeley and AlcKell. .Messrs Baddeley and AlcKell are now absent from the State. The Cabinet passed a resolution protesting against the Premier, Mr Lang's action in handing over the government of the State to the “red” element at the Trades Hall. It wits also decided by the Cabinet that Air Lang must repudiate all the actions of the conference convened by Air Seale, and must express bis regret for having taken any part in the proceedings.

It was further resolved that under no circumstances would Air Willis lie allowed to retain his position in the Government.
