This was the result after the former had been warned b.v the releree that lie would have to fight. For the first lew rounds the fight was very tame, the crowd Ircqucnty counting the contestants out. After being warned, however, Moore livened tip. He attacked the coloured man furiously badly punishing Mi--1 hints, who was several times almost knocked out. MELBOURNE, April IG. At the Stadium, Cowan defeated Gillespie on points in a fifteen rounds bout.
