Yesterday's fixture at the above yards was attended by the worst weather experienced l'or many years which militated against tlm presence ol the usual butchers. In addition it affected the condition of the cattle which clearly shewed the effects ol the rain and cold of the last two or three days. The entry comprised 21 bit lambs and sheep, and 50 bead ol cattle. Prices were on a par with those recorded at the last sale, there being a preponderance of cow and boiler beet. HOUSTON AND CO.'S REPORT. The special Easter sale was held at the above yards yesterday, our entry comprising 2d bead of fat cattle. 100 fat sheep and 20 fat lambs, also 2-)0 breeding ewes. There was a small at-omlanc-e of .buyers and competition wUs dull, but prices for good ox beef were on a par with last sale, whilst cows were difficult to quit except at very low

prices.
