Air Churchill, Chancellor of the Exchequer, spent Sunday at his home at Chartwell Alanor, near AYesterhatn, polishing his Budget speech. Alost ol the day lie tramped inround the tennis court memorising his speech, which is expected to take two hours to deliver. Six former Chancellors of the Exchequer will he included in the ambience. of whom three—Afessrs Philip Snowden, Lloyd George and Sir Robert Horne —will speak. If Mr Churchill intends to spring anv surprises, his secret is being well kept.
