THEFT CHARGES. AECKLAXD, March 31. Christian John Taylor was charged at the police court with theft and false pretences invoicing £242, and pleaded guilty to till charges and was commit' ted to the St tore me Court for sentence. The principal concerned is the Reliance Prating Coy. for which accused wits employed, getting contracts front June 102 G to February 1027. He collected £2Ol from business people in the eitv and had not accounted for it to the Comnany. In addition accused had received £22 10s commission on contracts that were not genuine. ALLEGED SHEEP STEALING. DANNEVIRKE, March 31. Arrested on a charge of stealing .V! sheep, the property of George Reatson. farmer of Oringi. it farm manager was remanded by Justices until Thursday. April 20th. his name being suppressed in the meantime. Rail ot £2OO and one surety of £2CO was granted.
