Detroit, where be ibeing treated for injuries sustained when a Ford coup driven by himself was forced off the south drive. The ear plunged down a twenty fool embankment striking a tree. Ford was knocked itia-uisi ions, but shortly recovered consciousness and walked io wards his estate where he met a gate keeper. The latter summoned Mrs Ford and both took Ford home. It was found necessary the following day to remove him to a hospital in an ambulance where a minor operation was performed. The doctors now pronounce him resting easily with no serious complications expected. Ford was driving alone at the time of tho :iceident.
