Primacy nroilucts, on the sale of -which at the other side of the world the prosperity of the country depends, loom so large in the otiblic mind that the progress made hy secondary industries is overlooked. This progress has been achieved in quality as well as quantity. and it is appropriate just now. when there is an unusual amount of unemployment, that an organised effort should lie made to popularise local industry.
