THE ROYAL VISIT.
[nr TELEGRAPH PER PRESS ASSOCIATE..*.] THE RENOWN’S CREW. SYDNEY, March 25. A wireless from the Renown states fairly rough weather is still being experienced but progress is not delayed. The high character of the British naval men in general in the Renown s complement in particular is strikingly emphasised by the conduct of the ship’s company during its sojourn in New Zealand ports. Desertion was practically nonexistent, there being only one individual who did not return, while the commoner offence of leave breaking only amounted to a minimum in number, the average time of such leave breaking being only two hours. These figures are all the more creditable since the RenowiPs crew were not picked, the ship being manned by usiial procedure of drafting.
