The championship team match was fired this afternoon, when rain which had stopped the .shooting during the morning cleared away, though a tricky rear wind was still troublesome. The match for teams of five men, seven shots each, at 1100, 500, and 600 yards: £2O. Christchurch No. 1 476, 1; £lO Blenheim 474, 2; £6, Fentherston, 471, Wanganui B. 468. There were 23 teams competing. The winners take the District Challenge Shield.
