For several days Colton lies near death. During that time a big deal in which he is interested, materializes and Rosc-ue helps .Mabel to successfully conduct tin- transaction. Then comes the realisation on Colton’s part that Paine is no mere country boy. Ho investigates and finds that Paine is ilie sou of a former famous banker. lie goes in search of Rescue and limb, him out on the sand dunes, but .Mabel lias been llie first to find him. Then Colton. realizing the situation, returns to bis home to await a more opportune time for discussing a certain inattci
with the Young man who is to be hi future son-in-law.
