EXCHANGE OF WIVES -TO-NIGHT.

j Hobart Henley’s fifth production for Metro-Gold wvn-Mayer, “ Exchange of \\ iv-es,” is coming to-night to the Princess Theatre. Henley will he remembered lor his production of “So Ibis Is Marriage,” one of last year's greatest successes. “ Exchange of . " ires ” has in its cast two members of the former success. Eleanor Boardj man and Lew Cody as Mas and Mr j Bathliuni. The two have turned their ; talents from drama to comedy in this j picture, however, and according to advance reports are even more successful. ( The story concerns the domestic difficulties of the II at lib urns and the Morans, neighbouring couples. Each couple has been married long enough lor the novelty to wear off, and both the men lose sight of the desirable finalities of their own wives in their I admiration oi the other’s. This leads | to the trial “exchange of wives,” and the complications resulting bring about some of the. most brilliant comedy of tlie year. Hobart Henley, the director, scorns to have an inside understanding of the complexities of married ufe, and he brings out in his productions all the points that add reality to the situation, yet everyone is given a touch to bring out its irony and humour. Renee Adorco plays Elsie Moran, the little flirt, and Creighton Hale, tier husband, Victor. Miss Adorce has been doing some excellent work lately, which includes the portrayal of several parts in a line with her present impersonation, notably that of the flirtatious wife in “ Excuse Me.” Creighton Hale, who has run the gamut of human emotion for many years on the screen, plays a role somewhat similar to his marvelous portrayal in “ The Marriage Circle.” A topical and comedy will also he shown. On Monday next a new production of the evergreen story “My Old Dutch,” will ho the star attraction.
