The Executive are under the presidency of Mr Senile (cabled on 7th) Both Executives claim to be the head-1 quarters of the party and have threat-1 ened to expel tho other lrom the movement. The leaders of the old executive claim that over twenty executive members out of a membership of thirty-two, are supporting it. A SENSATIONAL EXPLOSION. ADELAIDE, March 17. A sensation was caused at Strathnlbyn, forty miles from Adelaide, when a terrific explosion wrecked three offices. The noise of the explosion wa« heard for miles around. W inflows were smashed hut no injuries are reported. There were several narrow escapes. A man was seen to place a parcel on the pavement and set fire to part of it and then walk quickly away. He was later arrested. FEDERAL APPOINTMENT. MELBOURNE, March 17. Mr Bruce announced that Clive McPherson has been appointed Australian Commissioner on Nauru and Ocean Island Phosphates Commission.
