This (Wednesday) night at the Town Hall "ill be presented that most attractive of South .Sea Island productions ‘‘Typhoon Love,” which has proved so very successful wherever shown. There is a fascination about life in. the South Seas which grips most of us in its spell, and Norman Dawn lias taken full advantage of this psychology in his latest production •‘Typhoon. Love.” Ruth Clifford, equally well known on stage and screen, has the. feminine lead, while T. Roy Barnes. George Fisher and Mitchell Lewis share the male honors. All are old motion picture favorites and arc said to have combined to make a thrilling absorbing photoplay. An unusual plot has been developed, which opens with the attempts of one. Captain Morgan, veteran South Sea. Island Trader, to obtain possession of an opal mine owned by Tom and .Tack Gordon. How is thwarted. partly through the effo i ts of his own daughter. .Tune, makes most interesting screen material. Some startling shots of a tropical typhoon figure in the picture, and add much to its scenic beauty. The entire picture is a succession of thrills, with burning ships, a real tropical typhoon, and a hair-raising avalanche which carries a bungalow into the sea. The supports include a gazette and a good comedv.
