BOWLING.

SINGLES CHAMPION. The annual competition for the Singles Championship of Hie Hokitika Bowling Club for the season 1020-27, and the right to hold Hie Duncan Cup for the year, lias now been concluded, Mr D. Stevenson being Hie winner for the seventh time during the past eighteen years the competition has been played for, securing eleven wins and no losses. Rev. J. AY. Hayward was runner-up with two losses and Air W. AA’ilson (the previous years’ champion! was third on the list with three losses. The winners of the championship since its inauguration are as follow :
