Air Mi Al ley. had performed bis unties in interpreting the rules of the '-" i i'ltion when the postion of I’resi- , dent was declared vacant. A resolution was passed expressing lack of confidence in him and asking that lie should tender his resignation. Support vis given to tlie following resolution from the Dunedin Branch:— ilial sincere appreciation lie expressed of the services rendered to the F.. and C. < Association bv Air Carroll during his term as President of the Association.” The following further resolutions were passed:—“That this Burnell ion. .sillers that Air AlcArley unci Air P. d. Lewen luck both the respect and the confidence necessary for the positions they occupy, and that the General Secretary be informed that this Association is a democratic institution, and that no instructions will lie accepted they be formally endorsed Lithe Executive Council: tint this Branch endorse the action of the Executive Council in suspending Mr AlcArley and in ventilating the measures employed by him to prevent Air •L.I. Pennell from being elected Delegate for Wellington : that this Branch pledge itself to support the Executive Council in any action taken to vindicate its power and authority that it is the opinion of this Branch that a full meeting of the Grand Council should be held as soon as vacancies are filled to deal with the existing cricis in the organisation.”
