EVERYBGDYS’ PICTURES • COMBAT”—TO-NIGHT. House Peters will return to tlio Princess Theatre to-night in “ Combat,’’ wliich is one of the most thrilling nielodramus of the great outdoors ill which this popular he-man star lias over appeared. .Jammed with rapid action, lights, a forest fire and a terrific raging torrent this picture piles all the dramatic moments that have elevated Peters to his great popularity into one perfect picture of life in the Inmbercanips. Through it all is woven the strand of a pretty romance between Peters and Wanda Hawley. A rough gang of lumber-jacks furnish interesting atmosphere to the picture.. Walter McGrail plays the role of (lie weakling while K. Anderson is the prime mover of the opposition to Peters and aids in the staging of several terrific lights. I.ynn 'Reynolds directed the picture which is I’min an original story by J. G. Hawk's and Edward J. Montague. The story concerns a roughneck' lumberjack who is hired to drive poachers out of the lumber territory. A girl comes into the picture supposedly in. love with McGrail and Peters falls in love with her. From then on events take a thrilling turn and end in a whirlpool of action. The second chapter of the new serial “ The Scarlet Streak,” will also he shown, together with a good comedy. Patrons are advised to come early to-night to secure a scat.
