FLORIDA SU'AIR. NEW YORK. .March 10. y Another of the vast schemes for the creation of a social colony in Florida has collapsed, as part of the general deflation of the land boom. with the filing of a petition of involuntary bankruptcy against the Alizner Development Corporation to-day. This concern planned to develop sixteen thousand acres in the vicinity of Palm Beach, as an ornate and exclusive colony for the wealthy. Forty-one million dollars worth of land was sold, and prominent figures in the world of finance and international society appeared on the Board of Directors. Splendid homes, many of them virtual Spanish palaces, were huilt and extensive landscaping was done, but afterwards many directors withdrew, 'expressing di;satisfaction with tho affairs of the concern, and. despite various attempts at reorganisation, the project failed.

Air La Pointe, announced the Dominion Government would call a conference ol federated aud provincial governments in 1927 to discuss constitutional questions, which are an amendment to the British North America Act.
