SUPREME COURT.

DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS. GKEYMOUTH, March 10. At the Supreme Court yesterday when the case of William Meldrum v. Norah Elizabeth Meldnun, an application for divorce on the ground of alleged desertion, was called, Mr I’. A. Kitcliiiigliam (for petitioner) stated that respondent had tiled a cross-peti-tion. and asked that this he dealt with first. This course was adopted. Air 11. E. Dongan (for respondent), said that one or two items had been settled by consent. j His Honor: Arc the allegations in the cross-petition admitted r j Air Doogan; It is admitted that the, parties were separated tor the peiiod. alleged. Norah Elizabeth Aloldruni stated in evidence that her husband and herself were not happy together, and, in February, .1920. they agreed to separate. Air Kitrhingliam then announced that the husband's petition would be withdrawn. His Honor granted a decree nisi on the wife’s cross-petition, to he made absolute after three months, the husband agreeing in writing to pay costs £45, and disbursements, including witnesses’ expenses £lO and respondent’s cost of attendance. Adeline Alary Alagdalen Cook, of Cobden, (Air W. J. .Joyce) applied for a divorce from Robert Cook, on the ground of agreement to separate. The petition was undefended.

His Honor granted a decree nisi, to he made absolute after three months, costs on the lowest scale to be paid by respondent, with disbursements and witness’s expenses.
