The Chairman to move:—“That tho accounts for the month of February. 1927, as revised and recommended for payment by the Finance Coinmitte, amounting to £ , be passed for payment.” . 2. The Chairnf.ru to move:—“That the Treasurer prepare .for the information of Councillors at nextmonthly meeting, the annual statement of the apportionment- of the gross income'(as estimated for the year commencing on the Ist April) and the proposed allocation of tbe surplus revenue over the several Ridings as required by the Counties Act.” 3. The Chairman to move:—“That the Overseer prepare a list of works for application for Government grants 4. The Chairman to move:—“That the Council express pleasure and gratification to tho Rt. Holt the Prime Minister on tho completion of " the Wailio river bridge, and congratulate the Public Works Department on the erection of so fine a. type of bridge for public traffic.” 5. Cr. Donovan to move:—“That application he made for a grant- of £2o(), »£ for £, to the Public AYork.s Department for the metalling and regrading of Okarito road and the strengthening of the bridges on the route, the matter to be urged as one for special attention at the earliest moment.” 6. Cr. Wells to move:—“That- the Overseer report on the repairs necessary to Upper Hokitika Gorge track and the condition of the cage crossing die river, for the special use of prospectors.”
