£]l. TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.]

N.Z. LEAGUE- TLAAI. AUCKLAND, Alarch 3.

Air N. Afouatt. one of the disqualified League players lias intimated that legal advice will be sought with the object of contesting the decision of the Council. He stated that in regard to the charge of striking, on which they were disqualified, the only question the Council considered was whether there was a strike, and the question of whether a strike was justified was not considered, nor was evidence on that point admitted. It is stated the disqualifications will operate in England, and other football codes will reciprocate.
