Badcock (Wellington) has informed the New Zealand Cricket Council that he will he unable to make the trip to England. His decision will necessitate the selection of another-player. The feeling locally is that choice may fall on N. Galliehan, of Palmerston North, a good all-rounder. He is a left-hand slow to medium bowler, ana a good batsman and fled. It is rumoured that there is a possibility of the team for England being increased from fourteen to fifteen. At least-, it is understood that the advice of Warwick Armstrong and Hugh Trumhle will he sought ns to the advisability of such a move.
