LONDON, Feb. 21. The Cabinet will further consider on Wednesday the terms of a protest to he sent to the Soviet regarding Communist propaganda. It is believed that Sir Austen Chamberlain is opposed to the despatch of such a note, holding that even the breaking oil' of relations with Russia would not prevent propaganda. THE SOVIET VIEW. MOSCOW. Feb. 21. M. Lithvinoif. addressing the Central Executive Committee, alleged that certain British Cabinet members were assisting in a campaign of cx-Tsarist officials against the Soviet. He said that tlie British Government's ambiguous conduct, and its frequent suggestions that the Soviet is violating the trade agreement, gave the belief that the British Government was encouraging' tlie, campaign, hut Britain had not brought to the Soviet’s notice a single ease ol violation of the agreement.
RUSSIA’S. CENSUS FIGURES. LONDON. Feh. 23. Hie Daily Telegraph’s Riga correspondent states: The census recently Liken shows the population of Russia to he one hundred and fifty-four millions, eight hundred thousand.
