“MODERN GIRL” CONTROVERSY.

IS FEMININE REVOLT JUSTIFIED?

QUESTION FOR HUSBANDS. (By “Kim.”) Civilisation is torn over the question of “the modern girl.” Her dress, her manners, and aibove all—her attitude towards marriage and, the home life are agitating speakers and inspiring scribes without number. Nevertheless, there is one point of view which, seems to have been overlooked in tlio general uproar—a point of view which should be taken into consicforntion by every husband and father.

The modern girl (her age ranges from sixteen to thirty-five, and she may ho married or single) is simply in a. state of revolt.
