Stories of dissension in the New Zealand League team during the tour of England were confirmed to-day by the team which are aboard the Narkuiula. The dissension resulted in the suspension of Manager Mail's for two months and also seven players who had been without pay since before Christmas. In the circumstances it is not .surprising that the tour was not' a success financially. The loss is estimated at £4OO. THE MAORI TOUR. PERTH, February 17. Parata and Gemmell, of the Maori team, state thfTr tour was a complete success financially and otherwise. Both on and off the field the -Maoris were extremely popular in France, It is likely a French Rugby Union team will visit New Zealand next year in response to an invitation by the New Zealand Union.
