HARTHARI STOCK SALE. At the above yards yesterday Afessrs AV. Jeffries and Co. held their annual summer sale 'when the entry comprised 244 sheep and lambs and 103 head of cattle. There was a good attendance and competition was keen for ;all classes of stock, with the result that a local clearance was made at prices distinctly in favour of sellers. The following sales were made. Sheep: For L. Robertson 10 fat iambs at 17s Gd; for Ceo. Manship 192 owes and lambs all counted at 18s; for F. Wood, ham 20 breeding ewes at 2os, 8 fat wethers at 26s 6d. 13 lambs at 20s 6d; for Jno. Hewer 1 cow in profit £5, 1 sucker at '£2 19s ; for T. Foster 11 calves at 265, 4 cows ,and 3 suckers at £5 Gs; for A. H. Jones 5 cows at £5 Is, 1 cow and calf at £4 10s, 1 stag at £1 Is; for Frank Haddock 17 "steers at £7, 13 at £4 Bs, 1 cow and s'alf at £4; for C, Hende 3 fat cows at £8; for C. AntTieman 2 cows at £3; for T. Cron 10 cows at £3 6s; for J. Burnside 4 heifers at £6; for L. Haddock 5 cows at £4 3s, 1 cow at £7, 5 cows at £4; for E. Herlihy 1 calf at £2, 1 hull at £2 14s; for Joe Whitiskie 8 calves at £1 12s; for D. A. Boberston 1 cow .at £7 10s; for E. Searlo 1 horse at £5.
