The New Zealand Amateur Athletic Championships concluded to-day, the results being:—

100 Yards —Leadbetter (Canterbury) 1. AY iHia ms (Auckland) 2, Elliott (Auckland) 3. Time 9 4-5 secs, equalling the Australasian record. 220 Yards—Leadbetter (Canterbury) 1. Fleming (AA'ellington) 2, Elliott (Auckland) 3. AAA in by half a yard. Elliott was six inches away third. Time 22 3-5.

440 Yards —Fleming (AA'ellington) 1. Newton (AA'angninli-Taranaki) 2, Garlick (Auckland) 3. Fleming won brilliantly by three yards from Newton with Oarliek third. Time 50 secs, the best performance put up by a New , Zealander. i Half Alile—-Olsen (Otago) 1, Newton (AA’anpjanui-Tnranaki) 2. Allan (AYellington) 3. Olsen won by two yards from Newton. The Wanganui champion accidentally collided with Wavidnn and the Aucklander stumbled ten yards from the tape. He kept on bis feet just long enough to pass the tape, and then pitched forward. Gibbons won by nearlv three yards, and he was announced as the winner. The humping was investigated by the referee, Mr R. AA . AleA illy, who disqualified Gibbons, and placed Savidan first and Priestly third. Gibbon’s time was 4 mins 25 secs. 120 Yards Hurdles—Landen (Otago) 1. Although Cabot, changed his mind and going back into the track, finished the race, he had broken the rules and no race \va.-. declared.
