The Yiee-Presidents include Lords Gladstone. Buckmh.ster. Sir Henry Limn, Professor Gflliert Murray, and Hon. Air Runeimau. The Committee include Sir Donald ALicLean. Air Yivian Phillips. Air Pringle, Lord Stanley anil Air Alderlev. Lord Grey, in his presidential speech, expressed the opinion that, while the British troops in China were used only to protect life, land not to enforce obsolete treaties, there was no complaint against the Government,
