LABOR LEGISLATION. SYDNEY', Feb. 10. The Assembly passed a Parliamentary Electorates and Elections Bill providing for a further redistribution of the electorates with a view to giving the country additional representation in Parliament. Mr Baddley during the debate on. the Child Endowment Bill said it was estimated there, were 441,6110 children for whom the endowments would lie paid. A -MYSTERY CAPSIZE. SYDNEY. Fehruarv 10. A revised list of steamer Galvaa’s missing:—.7. Hansen, Benjamin Gilkes, A. Drown, Pietro Spniiuolo. The cause of the steamer capsizing is a mystery, but significance is attached to the statements of survivors that the engine room was aft, was quite dry. while the forepart of the vessel was filling rapidly. Members of the crew hurriedly examined the. hatches and found water had entered there. The concensus of opinion is that one of the plates in the forepart became detached through the weio-ht of coal, allowing the water to flood the ship. Most of the crew managed to dive front the side but it is feared the missing men were drawn under when the vessel disappeared.
