Great Britain and some other European Governments have replied to the United States proposal to enter a

World Court with reservations. The replies are substantially a rejection. The British answer follows generally the Geneva Conference counter reservations to the Senate reservations which President Coolidge and many senators believe are unacceptable. The Semite reservations would give the United States a veto power over any dispute presented to the Court in which United States has, or 'claims to have an interest. The counter reservations would give the United States equal power with the Council members in relati on to the Court, but whether the latter will now have a veto power is at present disputed.
