He is also a tine athlete and his feats of tumbling and jumping are 'absolutely remarkable. His leaping is not ii laboured process. He rises gracefully and easily and the preliminary run is executed with the deliberation of a panther '•bout to spring. The stage settings and the wonderful Oriental costuming were the best wo have witnessed. and regret was expressed by the public that tho Company could not stay longer in the citv.” Christchurch : ‘‘The Press”—‘ l 'lTie entertainment: presented by tho Donato Co. last evening was of a very high standard, and the audience bad every reason to be pleused with tho excellent quality and variety of fare offered. One of the chief attractions outside of Donato himself wus .undoubtedly the vaudeville turn of Alddle. Yvette, easily the best vaudeville turn ever offered at ibis theatre. AlYldlle. with her quaint accent, her pretty frocks, her songs and impersonations. quickly captivated the iaudieuce, but with the saxophone numbers with which she concluded she created a furoro. and even after she plated six numbers she left the stage with the audience still cijiinouring eagerly tor more.” This remarkable company appears at the Princess Theatre to-morrow (Saturday) night.
