BOWLING.
HOKITIKA V. GREY. A four rink team from the Greymouth Bowling Club visited Hokitika on Saturday and played a game for ■the Reynolds’ Badges held by Greymouth. The green was fast and true and the conditions ideal for play, though it was extremely hot. Hokitika won by 13 points, the rink skipped by Mr Benjamin securing the Reynolds’ Badges. The usual complimentary speeches were made by the icspeetive Presidents (Messrs W. Cochrane and H. A. Thompson) and elieeis for the two Clubs anil the Ladies, who provided a. very attractive afternoon ton, concluded nil enjoyable contest, the visitors then returning home hy motor car.
