machine before il is too late, agrees. A spectacular race follows—Betty’s father in the queer, rattling, horseless carriage and Sam. in an old-fashioned track suit. The money-lender is there, hoping for the success of the invention he knows now is his. Billy is also present. Init Betty refuses to listen to him. The unusual climax of the race furnishes a genuine surprise climax for the picture, which Was adapted for the. screen by Violet Clarke. Lawranee Wheat has the role of Sam Robinson, Edwards Davis is the moneylender and .Julia Swayee Gordon is .Mrs Ballard. Dan < rimmins i-, east in the role of Petty's inventive father and Jacqueline Gad-mi also has a line part. A Topical, comedy and the Swiss family Robinson serial will also he shown to-night.
