BOXING.

[Australian >fc N.Z. Cable Association.!

LONDON. Jan. 27. Albert Hall was crowded for a contest between Scott and Bartazzolo, who is of immense size but showed the crudest sense of boxing and was a slow mover. Scott in the third round seemed to leave his opponent at his mercy, hut he contented himself with liis opponent off, though in the fourth round he shook the Italian with rights to the jaw. In the fifth Scott had a narrow escape from being floored with a body blow. Bartazzolo took a lot of punishment in the sixth round and was disqualified in the seventh for hitting low. He had obviously had enough and was glad to see the end.
