A FESTIVE TIME COMING
At the Garden Party on February Rith in aid of All Saints Memorial Building Fund, a gala time will be provided. The general arrangements lor the big function are advancing rapidly. Some thirty children will take part in the country dances for which the rehearsals arc well forward already. Both Sir Roger and the Maypole dance will be featured specially, and other numbers are being contemplated. The decorated motor cars for which special prizes are offered, will Tie a particularly attractive feature, and there is likely to he keen competition. The girl guides and boy scouts will assist, and there will be games and pastimes for boys and girls, the programme to include many novelties, including some amusing games and contests. Cass Square is going to be a veritable fun spot oil the occasion in question. At night at the Soldiers’ Hall there will he further variety and distinctive entertainment provided There will he a very interesting elocutionary competition, also a .spelling l>ee. interspersed with vocal and instrumental numbers—surely a complete change and novelty in entertainments.
